1		Slominski 1959 Sidney and Pearl Slominski were married October 10, 1954 in Crown Point Indiana. My father Sidney was 39 and mother Pearl was 32. Sidney was born in Footedale, Pennsylvania and came to Gary in 1925. Pearl was born in Timber Coulee Wisconsin and came to Gary in 1953. They met at local Steel workers diner my mother worked.

3		Slominski 1980 photograph of home I was born 21 years earlier at 738 Delaware Gary Indiana. Our family had left this home in 1963 and it had not been lived in for some years prior to this photo taken by Jerry Slominski on leave from US Navy in Summer of 1981.

12		Slominski 1977 Terry Slominski shown here in Sparta, Wisconsin in 1977. 1977 was year I graduated from high school in Sparta Wisconsin and turned 18. Older brother Terry had stayed in Beloit Wisconsin and worked for many years Beloit food industries. Terry prior to this photo had been varsity wrestling champ at Beloit memorial - winning many important matches. Terry had lived on his own since about 1974 - age 17 and was by far the most athletic of all Slominski's before or since. Terry married a few years after this photo and raised a family in Northeast Beloit.

14		By 1984 when this photo was taken at brother Terry's home in Beloit Wisconsin. Terry and his wife Debbie lived in this home raising a family from 1984 to the current day. Shown is Terry's son Christopher at a very young age. At this time, I was enrolled at Western Wisconsin Technical College in LaCrosse Wisconsin as Industrial electronics student. I later graduated WWTI in 1986 and could not get to Beloit often to visit like I wanted to.
15		1989 wedding of half sister Laurie. She is survived by her husband, Terry of Melvina; a step-son, Aaron of Viroqua; 4 brothers, Sid Slominski of Sparta, Terry (Debbie) Slominski of Beloit, WI, Jerry (Mary) Slominski of Omaha NE, Gary Slominski of Omaha, NE; Laurie J. Brooks, 43, of Melvina, died Friday, February 22, 2008 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born on August 2, 1964 in Viroqua to Lars and Pearl (Bakken) Kokkeby. She grew up in the Sparta area and graduated from Sparta High School.

They late constructed a major Omaha building that would be in background of top photo had this photo been taken a few years later. Shown is downtown mall area. Photo in 1999 is during the Summer when I lived in SouthWest part of town and was showing off my newer car. My job at that time was software consulting. Omaha is city with metro of over 500,000 on border of Nebraska and Western Iowa.

25		Slominski 1998 Sidney Slominski Jr shown here about 1998 near his long time home in Sparta Wisconsin. Sidney married in 1973 and worked at Spartec in Sparta, Wisconsin for over 25 years. He is eldest son and bore substatial weight and responsibility for our mother Pearl Slominski before she passed away on February 4, 1999. Sidney has one daugther and several grandchildren in the Sparta area.

30		Slominski 2002 In the Summer of 2001, Jerry and Mary Slominski started dating and within a short few months decided upon marriage. Wedding day was July 6, 2002. Location was Fontenelle Forest of Bellevue Nebraska near where couple now lives. Mary was born in Japan as daughter of Air Force parernts. The wedding was a superb outdoor wedding hosted by Pastor Steve of the local West Bellevue church. Shown is center was nine year old son JJ Slominski who came down from Albert Lea Minnesota to attend his dads wedding.

Clifford brought insight into very early Norwegian roots and contributed 1883 trunk brought over by our earlier ancestors. Junior is Lumber company manager in Westby Wisconsin.
37		Slominski 2008 Jerry Slominski at ten mile leg of full marathon he completed in Sioux City on this day. His time 4 hours 44 minutes!
38		Slominski 2008 Jerry Slominski completes his first ever marathon age age 49 in Sioux city Iowa road course. My time was 4 hours and 44 minutes in jogging tour around the nice city of Sioux. I had trained jogging about a hundred miles in the Summer. Was happy to run in cool weather and my old bones still had the right amount of calcium! A most exciting life goal was achieved on this day. My wife Mary took this photo just after I finished!
